On 27.-29. September 2022 under the patronage of the Minister of the Environment of the Slovak Republic Ján Budaj took place in Bratislava the II. International Workshop on the Safety of Water Structures, which was co-organized by the VODOHOSPODÁRSKÁ VÝSTAVBA, STATE ENTERPRISE, Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic and International Water Assessment Centre IWAC, based in Kazakhstan. We are pleased that our project for wetland restoration was part of such an important event attended by more than 50 participants, including technical specialists, state employees and experts from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Slovakia as well as representatives of international and regional organizations.
The Project „Improving the condition of selected wetlands in the left-hand branch system of the Danube River“ benefits from a € 429 244 grant from Norway through the Norway Grants. The project has been co-financed from the State Budget of the Slovak Republic in the amount of € 75 749.
