The partner enterprises started the project realisation with a work meeting

VODOHOSPODÁRSKA VÝSTAVBA, STATE ENTERPRISE and SLOVENSKÝ VODOHOSPODÁRSKY PODNIK, STATE ENTERPRISE started the implementation of the project “Improving the condition of selected wetlands in the left-hand branch system of the Danube River” supported by Norway Grants.

The partner enterprises started the implementation of the project with a work meeting of the project team and technical experts of both partners at the project site on 01.12.2021. The work team will, among other things, prepare the project documentation for the reconstruction of the dam lines. Through these reconstruction works, the main goal of the project will be fulfilled – improvement and restoration of the natural biotopes of the floodplain forest wetlands in the Danube river branch system in the areas of the Baka, Bodíky and Gabčíkovo branches.

The Project „Improving the condition of selected wetlands in the left-hand branch system of the Danube River“ benefits from a € 429 244 grant from Norway through the Norway Grants. The project has been co-financed from the State Budget of the Slovak Republic in the amount of € 75 749.
