On September 23, 2022 we participated with our project, “Improving the condition of selected wetlands in the left-hand branch system of the Danube River” – ACC04P06 in the practical part of the project of Nevädzová Elementary School, Bratislava “Waterworks Gabčíkovo as a source of eco-energy and its impact on the forest ecosystem”. The presentations about the wetland restoration project took place under the shelter of Kráľová lúka (The King’s meadow), which is located in the left-hand branch system of the river Danube. Through the educational activities, the participants learnt about our project and about the wetland ecosystem. At the end of the presentation, a discussion about the newly acquired knowledge took place.
